New eye clinic: only one in world which can implant telescopic lens for patients with prior cataract surgery

The only eye clinic in the world, which is able to implant a miniature telescopic lens for patients who have age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and who have had prior eye surgery for cataracts, has opened officially today (19th March 2015) in Harley Street, London.

The Harley Street Eye Clinic will be able to provide its MacularScope Plus implant for cataract patients who have had a synthetic lens implanted into their eye. The synthetic lens must be removed to make space for the clinic’s MacularScope Plus implant.
