Miss Elizabeth Dolatshahy Hawkes

Miss Hawkes is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon with a subspecialist interest in oculoplastic surgery, facial aesthetics and cataract surgery. She is the lead for Emergency Eye Care at the Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation trust where she holds a substantive NHS consultant post.

About Miss Hawkes

Miss Hawkes obtained her primary medical degrees from Imperial College, London and spent time at Harvard Medical School, Boston. She undertook postgraduate medical and surgical training at St Mary’s Hospital, London before embarking on a career in Ophthalmic Surgery. She completed Ophthalmic Surgical Training on the prestigious Oxford rotation and worked at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

She has delivered several international and national presentations, and is now involved with surgical training and educating future eye surgeons. She has undertaken a specialist fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and reconstructive surgery. Miss Hawkes is a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society.

Her patients like her compassionate manner and friendly approach. She is available for consultations on all aspects of general ophthalmology, as well as subspecialist oculoplastic problems.
