Sarit Lesnik Oberstein

Sarit Lesnik Oberstein attended medical school at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, where she received her degree with distinction in 1992.

She moved to the United Kingdom in 1993 to pursue her ophthalmology training at St Thomas’ Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital Sarit got her Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1996 and did her full surgical training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, including a fellowship in medical retina and fellowships in surgical retina at the Western eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Dr Lesnik Oberstein was the senior vitreoretinal consultant for 13 years at The Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam before moving back to London.

She has extensive experience in complex cataract surgery, diabetic retinopathy and all forms of surgery of the retina including floater surgery, retinal detachment, macular pucker and macular hole surgery.
